Description
Recycled Earth is an app developed to help the city of Thane with scheduling pickup of waste. Users are notified w about the location of the vehicle on their screens visually, ensuring smooth coordination between driver, admins and citizens.
This app was created as the WhatsApp groups that were used to communicate and plan were reaching max capacity and it was getting difficult to coordinate. From a humble 20 families, now the effort boasts more than a lakh of registered users. This is by far the country’s biggest community-driven recycling effort.
